The Temptation of Jesus
Simon told me a series of stories about Jesus and what he remembered. One of the first stories he told me was the temptation of Jesus. The story starts out when a spirit drove Jesus out into the desert to be tempted by Satin. He stayed in the desert for 40 days and 40 night with out food or water. Jesus was tempted for 40 days and he was with wild beast and angels who ministered him. This story of Jesus shows the mental and physical strength of Jesus. Being tempted by Satin for 40 days with out food had to be an arduous task. Satin threw every curve ball at Jesus to get Jesus to worship him, yet Jesus stayed true to his faith and staid strong.

I am not suprised by Jesus' resolve. If he can raise the dead and resist the devil then he must be our true Lord.
ReplyDeleteI'm not either. Jesus suffered through so much for us even though some people hated him. No normal person can endure as much as Jesus, so he must be our savior.
ReplyDeleteJesus is my cousin and my best friend, he the savior of human kind and he delivered us from the evil we put on our selves.
ReplyDeleteThe devil should have known better.Jesus would never fall for that.He is the Messiah.
